Crackbird

On the recommendation of Aer Lingus inflight magazine, Cara (secret gem for food and travel ideas!!), JD stopped off at Crackbird in Temple Bar for a spot of lunch over the Easter weekend. Its a popup resto set up by the crowd behind Jo'Burger (thats on our hitlist before we head back to the big smoke) and serves nothing bar fried chicken. Its a really funky place and a bit of a shame it will close up shop in about a month's time so try and get to it if you can!!
I forgot the exact address of Crackbird but had a vague memory that might have been on Crane Street......its actually Crane Lane!

Funky interior with around 60 covers and a choice of seating......by the bar, on high tables and stools....

 ....in a booth....

....or by the window (aka. Tweetseats) - the resto is first come, first served......you can also tweet them to reserve seating for Tweetseats and keep your fingers crossed!!

 JD's bucket of buttermilk chicken

My "overflowing" bucket of soy garlic chicken wings (we also had sides of BBQ beans plus slaw)

34 more days left!!!
